Pine Straw
Pine straw is a fantastic, all-natural mulch option that enhances both the look and health of your landscape. It features a rich, auburn color that retains its vibrancy longer than traditional mulch, offering season-long appeal.
As it settles into beds, pine straw forms a lightweight yet effective mat that suppresses weeds, retains soil moisture, and moderates temperature—keeping roots cool in summer and warm during colder months. Because it resists erosion and naturally breaks down to enrich the soil, it’s an ideal choice for slopes, flower beds, and native plantings. At Southern Carolina Palms & More, we hand-select and bale premium pine straw to help your garden thrive with minimal upkeep and maximum beauty.
We carry pinestraw rolls to save you money and time. They are not as compacted as bales which makes them 10x easier to spread out. One roll is equivalent to around 2.25-2.5 bales.
